Great news for all travelers

Celebration No Comments »

Travelers cannot ask anything more this summer. The air line players have reduced their price to rock bottom price of Rs.1. And some are doing away with the fuel surcharge or dropping the price by around 40%.

Most airlines have these offers on for bookings made until April 30. Leading the summer slam are low-cost carriers such as IndiGo, SpiceJet and Go Air, some of which have dropped their basic fare prices to 0 or Re 1.SpiceJet is offering a Re 1 fare from Bangalore to Mumbai for travel in May. The full service carriers like Kingfisher and Jet Airways too have dropped their basic fare price to Rs 200.

These summer special fares are also 20% to 30% cheaper than what was on offer last year. The reason is that air travel is still reeling under a demand slump.

The reason for low fares could be a slump or any other reason besides that but the travelers, business men and professionals and families are sure to enjoy summer. You can read many such articles related to the travel industry in the group “Travel Representations in India

Indian Students in Demand

Groups, In the news No Comments »

There has been an upsurge in the demand of Indian students globally owing to recession. Many countries have been relying heavily on education as a prime export for their country. USA, Australia and UK have been the most preferred destinations of students for higher studies. However since last year there has been a fall in the number of applications for visa processing. USA and UK have had a huge fall in the numbers but Australia has still managed to keep it high. This is mainly owing to the infrastructure and economic condition of their economy which is the least hit among the major names. Many students from all over India have been coming regularly to this place looking for better future prospects. This island nation has managed to keep its flag high even in difficult times.

There are some universities logged into ZaaBiz, find out more about them from us. Log into Students at UTS group to gain more information about the university from the resident students. Its a good international exposure for Indian students.

India - Medical Mecca - ranks second in world

Celebration, In the news No Comments »

India has been climbing the charts of success in terms of its medical facilities. It has one of the most advanced medical treatments globally. In fact it ranks second in the world after United States. Earlier there were patients from all over Asia coming over to India for treatment; off late this has also been joined people from Europe and America.

Cheaper treatment is a huge attraction and, during recession, that’s a big fact. But other factors, too, have contributed to the growth of medical tourism in India. In the south it is mainly Apollo in Chennai which has a big name in the medical world followed by Shankar Nethralaya which is one of the biggest eye banks of Asia. Such establishments have changed a lot of perception of the country in the eyes of travelers from all over the globe.

Nano gets huge response

Announcements, Groups No Comments »

The employees of State Bank if India (SBI) are busy like never before. SBI is the sole booking agent for NANO across India. After the successful launch of the world’s cheapest car, lacs of application forms have been distributed.

SBI has an exclusive contract with TATA Motors for the management of the bookings of Nano. As part of the deal, the application forms will be distributed at the over 11,000 branches across India. The product loan will also be available at SBI with the meager down payment of Rs. 2,999. Due to the huge response and demand for the application forms SBI has set up a 24×7 helpline to facilitate the booking process. All the unsuccessful candidates will be refunded their payments at the SBI branches only.

It is hard to believe the excellent response that Nano has got. It seems either India is unaffected by the economic downturn  or the price of the car is catch point for the Indian consumers wanting to drive a car.

You can read such news, articles and post your opinion on Nano in the group “Nano-People’s car”
